This Heart Exercise Can Save Your Life!

Aerobic activity is the best heart exercise to improve circulation and strengthen your heart.

A sedentary lifestyle puts us at a much greater risk for developing heart disease. But this is totally preventable with a simple aerobic routine. heart-exercise Exercise has been shown to raise HDL (high density lipoprotein) levels which gets rid of the bad cholesterol from the arteries and helps protect them from damage.

The exercise that raises HDL is not lifting weights, rather it is aerobic exercise such as:

  • brisk walking

  • jogging

  • running

  • cycling

These repetitive body movements that you do long enough and hard enough will challenge your heart and lungs and get you breathing deeply. The more aerobic exercise you do the greater the rise of your HDL and the greater your HDL levels the lower the risk of atherosclerosis.

Our hearts thrive on that fresh supply of oxygen that is delivered by its two buddies, lung 1 and lung 2 and it works very hard with all that pumping action to get the rich oxygenated blood through the VIP chambers and into the ventricles and arteries to keep things functioning smoothly.

Once it uses what it needs it pumps the oxygen-rich blood to the circulatory system by way of the left ventricle. This is how the rest of the organs, muscles, and tissues get a piece of the pie.

The heart is a muscle just like all of the other muscles in the body, it just has a different function. If we don't exercise it will become weak like our other muscles.

The really good news is that if you are in bad shape right now, and you begin a regular exercise routine, research shows that you can decrease your risk of heart disease by 50 percent. That's huge!

With that said, if you haven't taken up an aerobic exercise routine there's no time like the present to start building a strong heart muscle.

Let's get up and get moving!
